This is only a document - On January 8, 1971, the French liner "Antilles" went over a coral shoal which was not reported on the marine charts. She was cruising between Baliceaux Island (background on the pic) and Moustique Island. She got broken in two parts, and a fire started, due to the rupture of a fuel tank. Thanks to officers and crew, and also to the local fishing boats and one cargo who provided help, there was no loss of life among the 635 passengers. This wreckage was dismantled in the 80s, and no longer exists.
