New, to me, lens

Just got a 300mm Raxatar f4.5 lens and am using it with a Vivitar doubler. The photo is in focus but it seems dull. It was a cloudy day and there is added glass of the doubler, the adapter (Minolta MD to Pentax0 and the sliding glass doors. Still it seems a little blahh to me. So I have some work to do.

I did some post photo on it and was able to enliven quite a bit. The juiced up version is at

It would be redundant to put it here. I'm waiting for a sunny day to see if I can do better with the camera alone. I like the lens it has about 330 degrees of rotation so focus is spot on and brokeh is great too.

It is very typical from the result I get from a Kenko 2X Teleplus Pro 300. Sorry to say, I've almost given up using it. :S
