Let it SNOW!

I lived for about 7 years in Virginia Beach which is just south enough for all winter weather to manifest itself as rain and slush. Now that we are back near Washington DC (Northern VA) the winter weather is winter again. Tonight we are expecting a massive snow storm with more than 6-inches of accumulation expected. My sister, brother-in-law and nephew are coming tonight to get snowed-in with us. I have split enough wood outside to last a week, we have plenty of food, coffee, hot cocoa and wine to tide us over. I am looking forward to a weekend full of photo opportunities to share with my Woophy friends next week!

I have been interested in photography since I was a child. My mother taught me how to use her Mamiya-Sekor 35mm and I developed my own film and made my own prints. Thankfully I made the transition to digital and my Mac and Photoshop smell better than the darkroom chemicals. I hope you enjoy my photos.
