Hi Craig,

Try to keep your main subject out of the middle of the pic. It makes it a much more interesting composition. About the beachphoto, sercas72 is right, its a bit blurry but somehow I like it in this picture. A matter of taste I gues. The last one is a bit dull. You can make an amazing aprovement by playing with the levels in a photo edit program. If you like I can send you the version after I changed te levels. You have only just began to explore the world of photography, and you make a good start. I can see that you have a good eye for nice things.

Enjoy your weekend and shoot clear and creative.

Regards, Carla

@ Nesbith Reyes

Its very easy to just tell that something is bad. That is not very constructive critic. Craig tells us that he is a beginner and likes to have advise about his photography. We have all been there. Maby you can give him a few good hints about improving his photography. I looked at your pictures and they are nog bad at all. Lets keep it positive, we all like to learn from good photographers and become better photographers.

Have a nice day Nesbith.

hi
i like the blur on the middle shot, kinda meloncholy, i think the time of day and light are very important cinsiderations in nature photography epecially macro shots. i think the third is a little too hot, if it were later or very early the dewdrops would be more pronounced.
Also the subject can be placed a little more against the back ground. remember your depth of feild up close will paint a blurry back ground. use those colors and textures too.
I rarely shoot after 10 am and start again around 4 -5 pm for natural softer light. nice overcast days are great. just keep on keepin on and you'll find your voice.
peace
Oso

most of the things have been said already, especially, do not try to place your main object in the middle - as a guideline, not a rule, sometimes breaking guideline brings out more interesting pictures ;-)
I like that you get close to your objects, so the person lookin at them has a real focus.
Concerning the beach-pic: well, blurriness can be a means to transport emotions or give a different angle. However, it is hard as the person who looks at it to find a spot to rest the eye. maybe just find a spot that is focussed, e.g. somewhere on the sand and let it run out of focus from there. I believe that might improve the pic - however it is a matter of taste - so much is true.

Hi Craig

Carla has right. Try to keep your main subject out of the middle, the results may be great (see my picture : id 25431).
Bad pictures doesn't exist, you like them or you don't like them.
