Maybe, this topic has been discussed earlier but I can't find it... if so please link..
In the early version of woophy, when uploading a photo a preview of the selected photo was shown.
- You were sure you selected the right photo. - Small thumb helps with composing the description.
Now you get the small thumb after uploading. Too late!
I find it very annoying "to select and upload in the dark," I practice I swap between a image viewer and the browser. When filling in the form.
Anyone experiences this too?

I never thought of it before. I am not convinced it really is that much of a problem.
As you can only upload one photo at a time, and there is an option (in Windows anyway) to view the browsed items as a thumbnails, you shouldn't really experience selecting the wrong photo and/or writing the wrong description.
Although this has happened to me anyway, so I had to edit it after...

Corneel,
I don´t know if the following is what motivated Woophy to remove the preview but this info may be interesting for you. The old version of Woophy ("Woophy 1.0") was developed for Internet Explorer 6 which was a very unsecure web browser. Only users with IE 6 were able to see the preview because it is (was) the only browser which allowed the server to display an image which was not stored in the server, so we can say that Woophy was "accessing" your computer without your concern. This new version of Woophy was developed for Internet Explorer 7, Firefox 2.0, Opera and has compatibility with every actual browser. Because of this, the preview was obsolete because new browsers (in this we can only say IE7 has this security politic as NEW) don't allow web pages to display contents which are stored in the computer of their users.

I have been in your position some years ago, when I still had IE6. Why not trying Firefox? I don´t know nobody who regretted my suggestion (at least yet).
Get Firefox!
