Hi
It's me again. Since I'm looking to make the step from point & shoot to a DSLR (unsure yet ), I'm looking for appropriate lenses for Nikon D60. Which wide-angle lens would be the best for the D60??
Thanks in advance Owen

You can check it out this page.

Everything depends on your needs and budget.
Best regards.

Hello Owen,
Here another review of wide angles
http://kenrockwell.com/tech/digital-wide-zooms/com parison.htm
I have a Nikor one and its really great. But it's much more expensive than the D60 itself.
Best regards,
One picture with D300 + Nikor 12-24 f/4

Hi Owen,
I use a Sigma 10-20mm F4-5.6 EX DC HSM with my D80/D300 and I really like it.
Regards, Bernhard

I use the Sigma 10-20 with my D70s, too, and I think it's an excellent lens, especially at 10mm. You can ignore most of what Ken Rockwell (see HP's reply) says (he's just anti-Sigma), but what he says about the D40(x) also applies to the D60: only the Nikon and the Sigma lens have a built-in focusing motor, which means that you can use autofocus on a D40/60. The other lenses (including the newer Tokina 11-16mm) have to be focused manually on these cameras.
