I thought this might be a good topic . Not about trains, but the train stations, and what's happening inside, on the platforms a.s.o. Let's start with Antwerp station

take a long look, there is much happening .

And two years ago they already though Holland will win the soccer. They already bought the right colours. Luckely they can use them for other purposes.

Interesting topic, Jack ! After all these modern steel and glass " palaces " ( and chasamatazz's model railway station ), how about a wooden, Victorian railway station - still in daily use at Whitehead, Northern Ireland -

I accept that I'm old-fashioned, but - to my mind - it has a special charm.

After nearly 20 years of successive private owners the NZ Government has just this week purchased back the entire NZ railway system and are now calling it KiwiRail. There are grand plans for electrification, new rolling stock, new stations etc. Ironically the former prime minister who sold the railways off in the first place has been appointed CEO. Britomart Transport Centre Britomart Transport Centre, Auckland Ellerslie (Auckland) Station, South Suburban Line. Being rebuilt and electrified The Overlander Express- Auckland Wellington at Waiouru Station (North Island).
