Wow! after read the last topic I will check my collection and delete a lot! Geofrey : you make me think, and you are right, there are so many bad pics, and so many are a series of the same bad pics. But perhaps, there are two problems: People don´t understand the english so well,(like me), then they can´t participate in the forum or read and understand the rules, even the comments and probably so many people are learning about photography. Sometime I do not put bad comments, because it make me feel bad and I don´t want to hurt anybody and probably it is a mistake. I am only a person who likes photography, I am only amateur and I can´t make suggestions to anybody. A said thanks to all the comments and suggestions made on my pics and the critics and advises. there are so many people who knows more than me. When I take a look over other collections, many time I think: what i am doing with my camera? But seeing other pics I learned a lot I saw more than one who were growing in the Photography quality About photos: good? bad?Learning from the others.(like me) . as always: sorry by my poor English

First of all I think that you have a nice portfolio. But you are right, we learn every day by looking to pictures and saying "why couldn't I have made this". Myself I think that I have learned from my fellow Woophians and from other photosites and photo magazines. It's just a matter of being confronted with pictures, analysing them, but most of all appreciating them or being touched.

Thanks Pansa! Each pic, mine or from the other have a special meaning for who take the pic, probably is the way to show the feelings . Photography is an art and I want to learn to show that I like or move in the better way as possible. The people who knows more than me show me the way.

Silvia

Thank you for this topic, as I seem to have fallen into a bad patch over , I think, the type of camera I was down to & was not sure it was allowed for me to use Frankenstein( a re-utilized put-together camera) that takes alot better pics. I am known to post bad pics, just for the sharing of friends for a moment. I try not to take to long in deleating them & try not to use this more secure web sight as a myspace place. But, I am looking at some of the ratings, all of a sudden I'm a Bad photographer. Yet, only a few comments to the obvious as to why it is a bad photo(i.e., it is not a sharp as could be, is not as focused, is not cropped proper, etc...) (Thanks for the honesty without meaness!). My girlfriends & I talk such things on the phone, so I'm choosing to think the low ratings are a Kudos! for content, compo, whatever I think is Right with it...? I'll try not to waste this Space, anymore & Hope for the best with Ya'lls English. I do understand, perfectly. I tried to upload off Frankenstien & it was not allowed. So, I post with what I have to Learn.
