Hello everyone, sorry for being a little late, I am in the middle of nowhere, and doing this through my phone! This month it falls to me to choose the challenge, so I have decided I would like to see "ACTION & MOTION". Any sports shots, waves crashing on beaches, animals in motion... Anything really, i'll leave it to your imagination. It's just for fun remember? Hope you all know the rules, and I look forward to seeing your submissions. I'm sure we can continue the quality started last month. Best regards Chas.

Action and Motion is a nice basic theme in photography... However do you expect us to show motion unsharpness or may the pictures also be frozen...

This is one of my favorite shots..it looks like I'm almost the only one who likes it , but never mind, her it is cos I find it perfect for this "action&motion challenge"

Just a question: are there any restrictions in uploading a picture, for example: does it have to a picture uploaded in August? Or is everybody just browsing their online collections and just pick an old one?

unfortunately i am not really familiar with the rules but have seen that some members sub,it more than one picture. is that ok? if yes i would like to submit this one in the frankfurt airport train station as well:

Hello again everyone,
I am now back, I have many insect bites  , and apologise for any confusion I may have caused. Already there are some great entries though, and all your effort is appreciated.
This is just for fun, and the rules below were decided last month by Phoenix Rising who came up with the idea.
1. The photo must be taken, processed and uploaded before 8:00am Monday 18th August 2008 (14 days).
2. The challenge is started in the forum. You enter the challenge by uploading your picture to the forum thread.
3. Any picture posted after the '(Stop) image is uploaded will also be disqualified.
4. The person who hosts is the judge for that week.
5. The winner gets to create, run, and judge the challenge the following week.
6. AND REMEMBER ITS NEW AND ITS FUN!!!!!!
After the 14th day a stop picture will be uploaded, no picutres after that will not be counted. And the results will follow 7 days after it has finished.
There will be 1st 2nd and 3rd place, the winner will host the following months challenge and you will get to host it, choose a topic and judge the challenge.
If you can not host the contest it will fall to the second place winner.

@ Nivad It is up to the individual whether to show sharp or blurred motion, you are the artists and you decide what will represent action and motion best
@ M. Knegt You can upload any photo in your portfolio, taken at any time, and as many as you choose, as long as they fall within the theme
@ matz Yes, multiple entries are allowed
