Right it is here the 14 day challenge.
The first months topic is " song titles " mine example picture is " Paint it Black - Rolling Stones ".
You now have 14 days to take a picture that represents a song title process it and upload it before the 14th of July (Monday)8am woophy time. And can you please add the title to the picture
Here are the rules:-
1. The photo must be taken, processed and uploaded before 8:00am Monday (2 weeks).
2. The challenge is started in the forum and the description states what the challenge is. You enter the challenge by uploading your picture to the forum thread.
3. Any picture posted after the '(Stop) image is uploaded will also be disqualified.
4. The person who hosts is the judge for that week.
5. The winner gets to create, run, and judge the challenge the following week.
6. AND REMEMBER ITS NEW AND ITS FUN!!!!!!
After the 14th day ill upload a stop picture so any pictures after that will not be counted. And the results will follow 7 days after it has finished.
There will be 1st 2nd and 3rd place, the winner will host the following months challenge and you will get to host it, choose a topic and judge the challenge.
If you can not host the contest it will fall to the second place winner.

Ps sorry about my example picture i only had an hour to do it. and im uploading few hours early as i need to go out tomorrow morning.

would it be ok to pick a title in a other language? like german, french etc? of course there will be added the translation of the title...

Shame and scandal in the family
Trinidadian singer Sir Lancelot wrote "Shame and Scandal in the Family" for a Hollywood movie titled I Walked with a Zombie (1943). In the movie, the song conveys local gossip about a prominent family in a Caribbean island, in keeping with the tradition of calypsos about upper-class scandals. Lancelot recorded "Shame and Scandal in the Family" in the late 1940s; it was subsequently recorded by folksong interpreters Burl Ives and Odetta.
In the early 1960s, Trinidadian calypsonian Lord Melody composed a new version of the song. Melody's composition, based on an old comic tale and the melody and chorus of Lancelot's song, was initially called "Wau, Wau," though it quickly became known as "Shame and Scandal." In each of the first three verses, a young man asks his father for permission to marry a different woman. In each case, the father denies his son permission, stating that his prospective bride is his sister, "but your mamma don't know." The last verse of the song turns the tables. When the young man talks to his mother, she replies "your father ain't your father, but your father don't know."
It's a co-production of my wife and me. She painted a yellow tulip. With the help of PS I did create this "tableau" of an argueing family.

Hi Jonny,
Inspired topic to start!
Are you really saying there's no limit? We already know that quite a few of tend to thnk in song titles, as it were, & use them for captions & comments. As soon as I read your topic, about 25 possibilities flashed into my head, but surely that's way too many?
Maybe give a reasonable limit, so that it doesn't overload the contest and overload your task of judging?

for this month as its new there is no limit but next month it will be a limit of 10 per person.
But would like to see some pictures taken within the 2 weeks too

Oh forgot to tell you all that half way through the judging week i will announce the shortlisted photographs on this forum thread just to keep you all in suspense

Two more bottles of wine by Dilbert McClinton (writen by Howard the Duck in 1986).
"My baby moved out and left me behind

and I got two more bottles of wine"
It's again a co-production of my wife and me. She made the carbon drawing and when I saw it this px popped up in my mind.
So, I put the bottles and glass on it and made the photo. The small touch of colour on the carbon drawing is PS

Hey, I'm not sure these pictures have been taken today, or is that not one of the rules? Also how many entries can you have?
I like this idea, especially I like the CASH PRIZE Phoenix Rising is giving away!!!
I think I will do Paint it Black by the Rolling Stones...

Hahah what cash prize? Ive got rid of rule 3 about photos taken with in the 2 weeks so you can now use any picture you have taken , but i would like to see people taking new pictures. for this month you can upload as many as you like but remember quality not quantity
And i see alot of members have got it right up to yet but remember you have to wow me with your picture
